The meet at Sewall Woods in Wolfeboro had wonderful weather and a nice group of
people showing up for a day in the woods. There were a number of people who had
never orienteered, some people who had done it a bit and others who were old
timers. Many of them were great additions to the “meet staff” and I cannot
thank them enough. The Olafsens were even kind enough to pick up half the
controls.

Jim Arsenault seemed to be the day’s champion with the fasted times on the
brown and sprint.  However, Bob Mathes ran the brown, sprint and orange, all
with relatively good times. He had not been orienteering for awhile and had
done most of his orienteering in England.

There were some who were new to orienteering and got around their courses and
others who had been a few times and seemed to enjoy the day.
